Not giving up on the canes yet

Nah I've said before, this coaching hire was the last chance I'm giving this program. If Mario doesn't work out, I'm done.

I think Mario will work out. Recruiting and talent acquisition being the reason. Although it must be said, the damage that tonight will do to that aspect of the program is terrifying
Better talent won't help our deficiencies.

You are a better man than me
In not dealing w this bull****
I’m prob just going to go golf
If they win I watch it later knowing
If not I’m ok because I’m not emotionally invested

I'll be in the same headspace as you if they lose next week. Not there yet though. Need to see how they do next week. It's a must win game now as far as I'm concerned.

My wife tried to console me after the ****show at the end of this game, and I had to just get up and leave the room. Sometimes you need to let yourself be ****ed off. And the way we lost this game ****es me off. The coaching blunder speaks for itself, nothing more needs to be said. On top of that, the refs called a ridiculously bad game and we need to leave the ACC asap, seriously **** this conference. TVD played the worst game of his life. Regardless of if it was a fumble or not, Chaney needs to secure that football. Kam should not have let that receiver get behind him. Dawson's gameplan was the worst we've seen from him yet, seriously Gattis bad. It was a **** show all around, coaches, refs, players, you name it. And to top it off, not only did this loss ruin our perfect season and kill the hype around this program, it did all of that in front of pretty much every uncommitted recruit we're hoping to land for the '24 cycle. So not only did it ruin this season, it ruined the next 4 seasons as well.

ALL THAT BEING SAID, win at UNC next week and the picture looks very different. We have the horses to do it, we just have to stop getting in our own **** way. Don't go in the tank. Sometimes you need to let yourself be ****ed off. This is one of those times. I hope these kids remember tonight for the rest of their football careers and use it as motivation and fuel to come out and kick the everliving **** out of North Carolina and beyond. Don't get dejected, get angry and show your fight.

But we'll see how it goes. How we perform next week will say a lot about this team and about this coaching staff as far as what they're made of mentally.
We not winning anything if that TVD shows up. But I agree except the recruiting part sh happens teams lose and still get the kid. Won’t be the first won’t be the last it’s just people expected undefeated and their minds went there even mine. But realistically we could lose three or four it can happen. This roster still isn’t close to complete.

I can’t put faith in a complicated operation ran by a moron. There’s no way his management decisions are exclusively poo-poo brained when in game. He’s crossing t’s and dotting I’s with retardation all throughout the programs decision making processes. Won’t be convinced otherwise.
Good point.

We see the blunders made on game day. I’m sure other stupidity is taking place behind the scenes.

Will never give up on the Canes and those players. Mario and staff lost me tonight.

two things.

1.) at least the kids were crying on the sidelines. in the past our players would laugh.
2.) everyone is talking this blunder but there are alot of people including non-miami fans talking about Chaney was down and the refs were very bias.
this will just be a controversial game.

It's not about giving up on the Canes...at least for me. I never will. Or these kids...
Mario and staff on the other hand have lost me and my support.
its everything...stadium was giving out Tennessee volv bucket hats on a black out night ---hard rock curse

I'm not giving up. After A&M I went from 6-6 to 8-4. This team still can end up 8-4 or 9-3. But that ticks me off we should have been 5-0 if it wasn't for Mario/Dawson. As bad as Miami was today we had the game won. On to UNC

Those refs were brutal. Funny thing is with Chaney being down I knew the refs were going to call it a fumble.

just like they took the prior 1st down away. they did everything they could to keep GA Tech in the game.

Im sure mario will bring in good enough talent for us to compete well every year. Good bowl games, win some big prime time games…But im not sold on him being the guy to lead us to a natty, hope like **** im wrong but i just can’t continue to brush aside these red flags

We beating North Carolina take that to the bank. If we don’t y’all can ban me for life.

So, wifey gave you a good pep talk and we’re back on the bandwagon?
That’s good thing.
Just don’t ask her for confirmation on what surgeon, accountant, engineer or anesthesiologist you should use.

Our team is being led by some one who can’t tell time or do simple arithmetic.

Let’s just be grateful Mario is a football coach and can’t do actual harm.
It’s hard to believe he makes $8 million a year over the next 10 YEARS, and can’t read a play clock.

The margin for error was already low. We have to
Go undefeated the rest of our schedule to make the champ game. We could win next week. Lose to someone else and UNC still make it.
