I hear you. They’re in the BBB stage of grief.I didn't read it. They're at the going back to the ex stage of misery in their current relationship. That's never good and I'm here for it.

Most Nole insiders say Jimbo left a huge pile of **** in his office on the way out. Burned bridges with donors and media. Blatantly lied to a lot of the wrong people. Can’t see them taking him back.
Metaphorical.
Soooo. Whats the current tally (pun intended)
- norvel + staff buy out $84mil
- top 10 nil roster $40mil
- enough money to cover new hc/staff for first year $20mil
They need someone to write them a $144mil check to just get out of hole and on level field
Then a yearly $60mil for roster/coaches after that every year.
Ohhh and are they still thinking of acc buyout?????
Been trying to raise the money to get rid of him. It’s not a secret.I could be wrong, but in my opinion I think they're kicking the can down the road until they leave the ACC for the P2. If Norvell doesn't get fired during this season, I 100% see him coming back another season. Like you've pointed out, where is all this money coming from? Is FSU in such dire straits that they're willing to wait it out over 5 million dollars?
I've said it in this thread before, but Florida State picked the absolute worst time in college football to be behind the 8 ball when it comes to program resources. Like I would not be surprised in the slightest if FSU becomes the next Nebraska in college football. Maybe not as down bad as Nebraska due to the recruiting grounds inertia of being in Florida, but at a point as a program that they cannot get over the hump of hiring a top elite coach and putting up the necessary money for him and his support staff.

Sprinkle some crack on him worked for the police for many generations inIf I’m an FSU big shot I’m trying to send as many fine women Novells way as I can find and pay for so maybe they can get him compromised, then fire him for cause. Or just go old school Police style and plan a couple bags of crack in his office.

I bet $ they go after DiazThey’ll come up with the $, as outrageous as the buyout is they are approaching the point where it’ll be more expensive (and not to mention embarrassing) to keep him.
Hopefully that means $ will be scarce for the next coach and we can repeat this cycle for another half decade.
That’s the voice of a defeated man. A broken man. Corch Norvell broke this dude.
The difference lies in NIL. Raising enough money to fund buyouts and new coaching staff is one thing, but layer on top of that another $40mm/year in NIL and it becomes virtually impossible for FSU to return to prominence for the foreseeable future — doesn’t matter who they hire. The dollars just aren’t there unless they mortgage Doak.
We caught lightening in a bottle. We got lucky as a ****house mouse as well when we hired Dawson and then Heatherman. That was the proof of concept we needed, not only for boosters, but recruits as well. You can throw all the money you want at players, but if they aren’t bought in to the system in place, you’ll have what Texas A&M had under Jimbo. A #1 recruiting class that never even made a conference championship, much less a playoff appearance.
Is he really injured? Or just saying F it and plans to portal? Didn't Miami want him?

Its the equivalent of declaring martial law but for an athletic department lolWe caught lightening in a bottle. We got lucky as a ****house mouse as well when we hired Dawson and then Heatherman.
