We will have a new rival. It always happens.

Many of us can never forgive FSU for the way they treated UM in the mid/late 90’s. Coaches like Chuck Amato using the death of Marlin Barnes to negatively recruit against us. Bowden himself saying there was no rivalry.
I know it’s odd to hold a sports grudge for 30 years, but we do. We hope that FSU and UF (letting us score and taking us off the schedule) are forever destroyed and left on the ash heap of history. And then we hope for the same to ND (Catholics v convicts and the Cleveland Gary fumble) and finally OSU (2002 Fiesta Bowl).

The order may change for some but these 4 are always at or near the top. And then we will have new rivals to hate. And the circle of life continues. Hakuna Matata

Miami vs. ND is clearly the biggest game/rivalry game on the schedule.

FSU can die. My Canes content has been supplemented by a hearty dose of FSU media personality tears and I would like that to continue ad infinitum.

Fair, but the Mensah story will be played to death. Especially if the Canes are unbeaten, as expected, and Mensah is balling out, as expected.

Or maybe I’m just hoping for a throwback trash-talk week.

our rivalries for the next 30 yrs will be determined by conference realignment

Prison Mike is actively proving that he can only pull 3-stars with his current level of trust and credibility.

The amazing part is how hard it is to not win more than 2 games with a bunch of 3* players. Mikey is actually worse at coaching than recruiting.
