Miami has NEVER been down this bad, at least in my lifetime.

You know, there have been fans on this board who have waited TWENTY YEARS for this team to get where they are at now.

I've said it before; FSU was spoiled by Jimbo Fisher and Bobby Bowden. Its hard to become a powerhouse again after youve been down bad. Ask Florida, ask Nebraska, ****, ask US. There are a lot of moving parts building a program, and they all have to hit jackpots at roughly the same time.
 
I'm legitimately concerned for them. It was fun/funny for a while but CFB is better when Miami/FSU is at the level Michigan/Ohio St has been the past five years. I don't want them to circle the drain and get stuck like Nebraska still is. It's complicated bc they are a rival and you don't want them to win recruiting battles or to ever beat you yet - them becoming irrelevant doesn't help us either. The day is soon approaching that Miami/FSU could be a noon kick-off on ESPN 2 bc it just doesn't matter anymore. Even when they were dominant in the early 10's we played them close and almost beat them. It was competitive. They can't stack a third straight losing season and expect to claw their way out with some splash hire (who would they even get?)

Well,.. what they need is something dramatic and tragic, ( worse than Norvell), like a team plane crash similar to Marshall. Then they can hire Matthew McConaughey to come and revive the program with 1stars and walk-ons, kinda like they have now, and have them rise from the ashes.. to mediocrity.” We Are.. STILL S**T” , has a nice ring to it.

The unconquered Seminole nation should have demanded that fsu cease using their likeness the second Norvell decided to forfeit a football game - let alone after the whinging about being snubbed, the worst bowl loss in football history and the 2-win season that followed. Poor reflection of those proud people.
