The delusion keeps getting worse. Now they think there was some bidding war with Syracuse for a 3 star DL? How much they think that kid commands lol?

Syracuse has had at least 8 decommits this year. They aren’t throwing around a bunch of big NIL offers. They can’t wrap their head around the fact that money isn’t their only issue right now. It’s an issue for them but the problems run way deeper.

That DL is getting a regular rev share deal from Syracuse.

With the best Oline coaches in the country it took us 4 years...FSU has the same issue we had, but even worse...Their lines of scrimmage are abysmal and it takes time and money...They have 0 depth for a roster that already lacks starter talent...They will be in a full rebuild..

Jimbo had enough bag money to go grab Winston out of Alabama when he was the Noles’ HC. They had enough money to renovate their stadium and pay Norvell and his staff among the highest salaries in the college football.

But in the NIL era the annual budgets have gone way up. Granted that they placed a couple hundred million on the wrong bets. Even so, I think even if they were winning and not dealing with all their stadium and staffing obligations, they just wouldn’t be able to keep up.

lol without realizing that makes cuse the better team to play for.. better chance of getting a quality coach sooner.

What’s most interesting to me is that when you listen to these Noles talk it’s like they are talking about some other sport with a different structure. They constantly talk about “the cap” and “rev share” and other restrictive things that from what I can tell don’t really exist. It’s very weird.

Their losses have driven them to mental illness. Creating scenarios in your head that don’t align with reality is a coping mechanism - and not a healthy one.
 
FSU is currently ranked 57th in recruiting and UCF is ranked 62nd. Who has the better record this season and who has the better recruiting class?
If Norvell gets fired this year then FSU might get some new coach momentum.
