What’s most interesting to me is that when you listen to these Noles talk it’s like they are talking about some other sport with a different structure. They constantly talk about “the cap” and “rev share” and other restrictive things that from what I can tell don’t really exist. It’s very weird.

Most likely correct. It’s so weird though. They have literally put themselves on probation.
 
They’re too big of program to be in the gutter forever but I don’t see these guys being a factor before 2030 or so if I’m being kind.

This **** is so funny. They've got two moderators trying to pump them up with "but he committed to F$U on his visit" as if that changes the reality.

The REALITY is that nobody wants to commit to F$U. They only do so if the money is better or the PT is better and they do it as a placeholder if they can get a better offer.

That's the part that cracks me up. If ANY of these F$U commits get a better offer, they are gone-zo.

Battle for a 3-star for weeks, even to the point where you get him to commit on his visit...

...only to give up at the end because you don't want to lose a bidding war...

Makes sense. You watch an eBay auction for weeks, only to not even put in a last-minute bid because you're afraid to run up the price and/or lose to another bidder.

You know you are on a different level of recruiting when I have absolutely no idea who any of these kids are that FSU has on their big board. Is it just me? No offense to the recruits..but each time I’m like, “Who the F is this??”. **** this is how it feels to be doing big boy recruiting. The days of Bama getting the “Patrick Surtain” level recruits and us talking ourselves into the “Larry Hope/Ryan Mayes” of the world are far behind us and now that is FSUs world to live in. Lol.
