No shot. They go 2-4 in those first 6 games, losses to SMU, Bama, UL, and UVA. Wins against NM and Central Arkansas.
He’ll be fired right after our game since that’s when they have a bye. I expect the game against them to go a lot like the 2020 matchup.
Indeed just don’t get their thinking if this is what they do. They’re hoping to win in the first six games, hoping the OL/DL ‘s gel. Wishful thinking is no way to run a business or an athletic program. I their plan was to take a “ wait and see” approach, that’s a bigger disaster than firing after last season. They waste portal/recruiting opportunities, waste any goodwill they might have garnered with a clean slate. If this comes to fruition, then go for it. Continue to throw good money after bad and double down, schmucks. Like I said pass the Popcorn.
