The last two years have been almost like being in a dream state.

Sometimes when I’m stressed or sad I go read the Nole Tears thread and immediately feel reborn.

What would be worse for them, to tank the 26 season and have to rebuild again or, go 8-5 with a bowl win over Kansas and have to bring back Norvell in 27. The 5 losses would Bama, Clemson, Louisville, Miami and UF, all by double digits.

I agree BUT I had this pinned at one time and people complained they couldn’t find it for whatever reason even though it was pinned to the top of the page so I asked to have it unpinned which it was .I also used to make sure this stayed on the first page and people called it being stupid so I made a pledge to never do it again even if it fell to the 50Th page.

I mentioned it in my comment about them losing out to that DB that recently committed to VT, that south Georgia has historically been a Nole stronghold, and losing a commit to VT is a gut punch to them. But a 4 star player from Thomasville, which is quite literally a suburb of Tallahassee, just straight up dropping FSU like that is big yikes territory.

This article from 2021 does a good run-down of how important Thomasville is to Florida State. One recruit doesn't break a decades long relationship with the program, but I can see it getting worse under Norvell.
