Brenda SoNoNuts says what we already knew in our hearts...
I agree with this, I cant go against my boy TOC. Even if I disagreed with this I agree, but I do agree if that makes sense.But...you know...that's not what was actually said.
The statement was that Miami thinks it will have a better overall team. Not that each singular position is better than last year.
And that's where the F$U douchebag goes down a rabbit hole.
He "grants us" Moten, but then tries to act as if it's a push because Moten was on the team last year. As if guys can't get better as they get older and play more.
He then yaps about Bain and Mesidor, even taking a cheap shot at Bain's arm length. Well, let's see...we took Damon Wilson II (who has 2 years to play), a guy who just had 9 sacks in the SEC-SEC-SEC. So, you know, maybe we have a guy who fits the role of Mesidor, a transfer who had 8 sacks at WVU before he transferred to Miami. He also chooses to ignore Lightfoot, who was MORE HIGHLY RATED than Bain out of HS, not to mention taller AND WITH LONGER ARMS. And who had 2.5 sacks last year, even as Bain and Mesidor tried not to leave the field of play.
And don't even get me started on his take on the OL. Sure, we lost Mauigoa. But remind me again...about who we signed in the same class who was ALSO a composite 5-star OL? Oh, right, Pancake Huncho can't possibly be as good as Mauigoa because every OL must develop at exactly the same rate.
The reality is that even if we are slightly lesser at THREE positions that went as #1 picks, we might be BETTER at three or more other positions. And if so, then maybe we have a better team.
Look, nobody wants to slam Carson Beck. But would we not agree that his INTs were a significant reason for at least 2 of our 3 losses?
I thought that year they would be great, remember Eddie Goldman the 5 star DT? He was absolute hot dog water and Keith Bryant, huge misses but they were high rated by the services. It’s mostly just pure unadulterated cope on their part. Says our DL is Mohten and a bunch of unproven guys, but somehow forgot about Wilson who was a top DE in the SEC.
Again, they’re in the toilet and most of their view on us is just cope. Jimbo’s team in 2015, which they reference as an analogue, didn’t live up to expectations because they downgraded across the board. Not the case here especially at QB.
It was probably well written, something fsu isn't used to at their university. Mike's 3d chess isn't about good football.. it's about raising the gpa.
Carson Beck and Dawson are responsible for all 3 of our losses . We had the ball the last drive vs Indiana even after the te whiff on special teams. Bsck forced the ball into a double team man over the top instead of goijg to the best player on the field Toney . Switch Beck for ward we we would have wonBut...you know...that's not what was actually said.

Both Spirit Airlines and F$U are trying to get government bailouts.
