New NIL venture for Memphis Mike and Fiscally Short University: The Tallahassee High‑Steppers - Tradition. Timing. Toe Point
Just looked at their schedule. Anything between 3-9/7-5 is possible.
Ideally they go 7-5 and win a meaningless bowl game to go 8-5 on the year. That would almost certainly give Norvell one more year.
More likely and not though they go 4-8.
Agree. Boston College is no gimme. FSU should win, but I'm not penciling in a win for them yet. BC beat them in 2024 at Doak. I know, its 2 years removed from the 2024 season, but both teams still stink and the game is at BC. Not an easy out for FSU with both teams being evenly matched.View attachment 360465
I only see two sure wins, and I’ll throw in Boston College, which is not a sure win based on FSU’s trajectory.
I just don’t see any way they win 7, and then win a bowl game also, to get to an 8 win season. It wouldn’t kill me because that would mean that they would probably have to keep cornrows, but I’m just not seeing it.

Yeah I don't think they are beating Alabama. Bama is gonna run that score up after what happened last year. Most teams are gonna beat them by 2 scores.Yes. And I think it's so cute how they optimistically listed the ACC-CG on the schedule...
Look, here's the reality. Beyond the 3 games you circled...
They play 4 teams that were ranked at the end of last year (SMU, Alabama, Louisville, and Miami)...and those 4 are within the first 7 games. F$U could very well be 2-5 after their first 7 games, and let's not pretend that they would be all fired up to run off 5 wins to close the season. I find it hard to fathom a world in which they can get to 7 wins.
Outside of the 3 "wins" and the 4 games against teams that were ranked, the SemenHoles will play:
a. UVa, the team that finished first in the ACC regular season (beat F$U in 2025 too)
b. Clemson, a talented team that usually manages to beat F$U (beat F$U in 2025 too)
c. Pitt, one of the FIVE teams tied for the cluster****ed 2nd place regular season spot in the ACC (beat F$U in 2025 too)
d. NC State, actually one game better (overall) than Clemson last year (beat F$U in 2025 too)
e. The Gator, and much though I hate to give The Gator any credit, they will beat the SemenHoles again (beat F$U in 2025 too)
I just don't see it. WHERE is the chance for F$U to improve its fortunes over the 2025 results? They don't get to beat up on Wake or VaTech this year, and I highly doubt that they will be able to beat Alabama for the second year in a row.
3-9. MAYBE 4-8. I can't see 7 wins, no way, no how.
watch them score 65 points week 1 then say they are back, then to immediately get destroyed by SMUView attachment 360465
