Agree with SMU, but disagree with NC State
I believe SMU is clearly the better team than FSU and beats them 9 out of 10 times. I have this as FSU's "lucky" game, similar to the game against Bama last year. I don't think they beat SMU in the fashion that they beat Bama, but I think SMU is a bit overrated and might not take this game serious. SMU looked pretty bad in road games last year. I know they have some talent, but I can see FSU pulling an upset there. I'm just not buying the SMU hype this year. I might be wrong.
NC State, on the other hand, is not much better than FSU. Not sure why everybody thinks they are a solid to above average team. I think it's a toss-up if they play 10 games. They both suck. NC State is also terrible on the road. They struggled to beat that sorry FSU squad last year at home. I know the final score didn't reflect that. I watched that game last year and thought FSU did everything possible to lose. FSU had some crazy turnovers and killer penalties. Don't get me wrong, I loved every minute of it, but NC State is trash and I don't see much improvement from last year.
