Good.
Beating them last year was wonderful, but it was like shooting a dying horse. Yeah, it's necessary, but you really don't get much joy out of it. They were a pathetic, dying sack of ****.
This year, they're all hopped up on hope and promise. Chest-out, strutting around with their garnet and gold on, all-in on Mike again, talking playoffs, etc. They're good again, right?
It will be SO MUCH better to snap their hearts and spirits in half, in their house, in 3 weeks.
Beating them will never be anything less than wonderful. Especially in the way we did, just a total bite the curb performance in which they went into the game with zero hope, and had even less basically before they settled into their seats. Just a thorough, physical ***-kicking. Glorious, and nights I live for.
But doing it when they have hope and think they're good is even better.
