I will never understand why they paid $800K for a QB that most didn’t even ranking in the top ten of transfer QBsThe inside leaks coming out of FSU have been bad on Castellanos. They knew the 1st week they had made a mistake and that still hasn't changed opinions. He is just as inconsistent as he was at BC.
Its worse than that. He may have been the only player in the portal with a public negative reference from his head coach.I will never understand why they paid $800K for a QB that most didn’t even ranking in the top ten of transfer QBs
because he played well against them and knew gus malzahn offense who they knew they were getting. They are trying to replicate the back yard football jordan travis didI will never understand why they paid $800K for a QB that most didn’t even ranking in the top ten of transfer QBs

There’s so many red flags in that report. Downplaying expectations on their QB, saying depth is basically paper thin, relying on a bunch of TR FR. Being in year 5 and having cultural issues"6. Tony White Has Work to Do
- White (DC) faces a cultural challenge on defense: instilling physicality and accountability.
- He emphasizes toughness, aggressiveness, and constant high energy.
- Willing to live with freshman mistakes if they bring physical play (e.g., Desire twins).
- The dismissal of Conrad Hussey reflected a need to cut ties with “me-first” attitudes.
- Re-establishing physicality across the whole defense will be a gradual process, not instant."
Brutal considering we already know their QB is a JAG and the offense will be inconsistent at best. And if they're expecting Darrell Jackson to be a leader, they're going to be disappointed.
Think they’re a 4-8/6-6 team. I watched some of Castellanos’ tape from last year and the year before. Definitely some athletic wow moments, but some major head scratchers too. The type of guy that’ll scramble and throw a beautiful pass, but the next play will overthrow a guy open in the flat by ten yards.Still gonna be a 2 win team... equally as dismal as last season..maybe more comedy tho..

Doubt Norvell gets fired this year considering the money he’s owed.
They’re still a very good brand and would attract almost any candidate for the right money. It will be a rebuild though. I could definitely see them throwing Hail Mary offers to Saban and Urban. One candidate I think would be at the top of their list would be Kenny Dillingham. He liked Tallahassee and has done exceptionally well at ASU. Leipold from Kansas is another one. They probably take a pass at Deion, but I don’t think health wise or commitment wise he would be up to it.Who could they replace him with and succeed? Do they have a Colombian mafia and billionaires club ready to step in and pay up to rebuild that team over many years? I just don’t see it but maybe they can pull a rabbit out of that hat. I think they’re going to be wandering the desert for another decade with or without the creepy shoulder masseuse.
