Gus took Castellanos at UCF. He started there in 2022 and played in a few games and transferred to BC for the 2023 season.

OK, so Castellanos dumped Gus. Also, Castellanos barely played. Mikey Keene started when Plumlee went down. Both Keene and Castellanos transferred out, so apparently neither one wanted to play for Gus.

I don't know about "scheme". Gus is not exactly great with QBs, and didn't he pass on Castellanos when he was at UCF?

The mobility MIGHT be a thing, I guess, but to me that is a better skill when you are INTENTIONALLY using the QB in the running game. I'm not so sure it's a great desperation-trait when the QB is flushed from the pocket. Case in point is that video, Castellanos was forced to the right (his throwing side) and still underthrew what coulda/woulda/shoulda been an easy 20 to 25-yard TD pass, as the WR was behind the DB by a couple of steps.
yea his mobility will help him as he's running for his life behind that line they're running out there or do they have the best OL in the country again...

Yes. Last year, they BRAGGED about how many "starts" they had across that overrated OL. And look what happened. They went 2-10.

So now they have a LESS experienced line. I'm sure that everything is back to normal, right? RIGHT?

if you use Nole Math which is much like the Math the Turds use....YUUUUUP !!

"He's been absorbing sacks a little bit more often. I got the precautionary, 'Well, it's not live, we don't know how he's going to respond in games.' But, they have not been wowed, is what one source down there told me."

"I hung out with Gus Malzahn for a day this summer, and it was after Tommy mentioned the Alabama thing, and I asked, 'How do you feel about that?'" Marcello said. "He said, 'We had a talk. He understands now.' Then, three days later, he said it again."

lol their board is going ballistic over this article. They got staffers trying to clarify and people wondering whether Baghdad Brenda Somoma is lying to them like last year.

You can’t read this report and think you’re set at QB. Theyre getting a majorly inconsistent passer and banking on his athletic ability winning out.
