Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

Their class is solid. But it def just has a feel that they either get a few steals that develop or they look back in 2-3 years and there are only like 5 kids remaining from the class.

They are going to lose big this year. They are only investing so much time and interest into this offseason because they know better. Legit had to look one of my Nole buddies in the face and say “do you think y’all can beat us and would you bet on it?”.

Again, it was a most optimistic scenario. I don’t think FSU as a whole was nearly as bad as the 2-10 record. Defensively it wasn’t a two win team. It held our record breaking offense largely in check for a while. Not to say that it was good - it wasn’t. Just not absurdly bad like the offense.

And The offense was historically bad. And no defense is going to perform well when your offense is constantly going three and out.

IF their quarterback stays healthy and performs well - and takes a leap from last year in performance - I could in a best case scenario see:

(L) Alabama
(W) East Texas A&M
(W) Kent State
(W) Virginia
(L) Miami
(W) Pittsburgh
(W) Stanford
(W) Wake Forest
(L) Clemson
(W) Virginia Tech
(W) NC State
(L) Florida
they didn't hold our offense, cam had an off night.

And this is why this feels like an al golden class. Who amongst their commits had a real offer from UM that we invested heavily in getting? Lopez? Yet we have higher ranked commits than him. So even though their class is rising in the rankings, when you look at theirs compared to ours, it’s night and day. It’s what fisher used to pull

I’d say Kennon was a loss, too. Agree with everything else. Manny-level class with some developmental pieces but few impact players. Probably FSU’s best class to date under him in terms of player quality though (which says how sad the state of recruiting is over there).

You sure about that or did the basketball team land another commit

they want make it to signing day . Lot of them will decommit

I know, one season at a time, but FSU could lose 16-20 starters from this year’s team and the 26 schedule will be one of the toughest in the country. FSU could go 7-5 or 8-4 this year, but follow it with 5-7 or 4-8 in 2026. Do they fire Norvell or let him coach 2027? The buyout after 26 should be about $30-40 million.

They prob can’t afford to

Disagree on it being solid. It feels more like a Golden/Shannon class to me, in which, like you wrote, I see a bunch decommitting or transferring after 1 year.
