I don't know when these dopey F$U fans are going to come to their senses.

They are so busy trying to build the fake myth of the "undefeated season" that they can't take two steps back to see the big picture.

ANY school...even "mighty F$U"...that follows a 13-1 season with a 2-10 season...has serious problems. The juxtaposition of two such years screams the obvious very loudly...that there is no solid foundation for the program.

Even with annual graduation turnover, a 13-1 team should still be able to manage 7-6 the following year on returning talent alone. And the fact that it did NOT happen that way...coupled with how many of F$U's players from the 13-1 team were recent transfers...tells most HS recruits that there is a loooooong rebuild ahead, and it tells the Portal recruits that they might not be able to burnish their NFL draft resumes if the team goes sub-.500 again.

So, yeah, F$U is down. Way down. Their only true hope is multiple years of fantastic scouting, diamond-in-the-rough-polishing, and tremendous development that succeeds at a very high percentage rate.

And/or replacing all the coaches, including Prison Mike. Which is probably the best, though most costly, pathway to travel.

TrumpyCane still thinks they will fire Norvell this year and hire Diaz if he wins 7 games at Duke again

That would not shock me. The only possible lifeline they have is if realignment leaks put them in the SEC. I could see a coach taking a chance trying to turn the SemenHoles around if it was an SEC job.

They are really, really, really, really in for a tough time.

Jaylen King is awful and got told to leave (and they brought in 2 FBS starting QBs if you don't believe it). Threw 9 TDs and 11 Interceptions and was a 50% passer.

Athletic as can be but he's a borderline scholarship QB at the FCS level.

With both full biased and non bias aside takes. 247 Noles writers are probably the gayest

They have a goofy beat reporter culture in Trailerhassee. From the obsession with shirtless pics of their football players back in the 1990s to their goofy baseball fans. They liken themselves to an "SEC" program yet they can't get folks to show up to their games. Silly Noles.

The city of Miami, and soFla in general, certainly gave him access to a lot of good football players, and the resident UM program gave him a talented coach (Richt) plus an annual game that helped elevate them into national prominence. Which is why i always scoffed at some of our fellow fans who praised him for having UM on their schedule before we were an ACC member, as if they were doing us a favor. Don't get me wrong, the rivalry helped UM too, but they needed us more than other way around.
Anyways, enough of my soapbox. Lol.

I’ve always thought that, after last season, Norvell gets ****canned mid season 26’. They don’t have the money to buy him and his staff out, and bring in a whole new staff.

They look like a 3-9/4-8 team this year. Slightly better, but with massive holes all over the roster.
