No thanks. He has decent speed, but can’t catch, run routes, is not physical, can’t battle for contested passes. A poor man’s Mark Pope if you will.

Time must be getting away from me. I could’ve sworn he was a 2024 recruit/signee. If I remember correctly, we pretty much freaked out when he signed with FSU, it just goes to show even with five stars they can sometimes still be a crap shoot.

I might be more interested in the 6ft 7 wr that left if he is coachable . Basically if he can be taught to high point the ball . Haykeem belongs at Georgia with pachyderm hands
That 4-8 team probably would have been 8-4 with fsu's schedule this year

FSU WR Jalen Brown dismissed from program
Florida State wide receiver Jalen Brown intends to enter the Transfer Portal, Noles247 has learned from multiple sources.

Multiple sources told Noles247 that it was related to an off-field incident. The school spokesperson did not comment on the exact nature of Brown's dismissal per program policy. Upon researching local police reports, it was found that a Jalen Brown matching the exact date-of-birth of the FSU football player had been arrested by the Florida State University Police Department on Saturday morning -- the same day Brown was dismissed from the team -- on Third Degree Felony Charges for Possession of Controlled Substance.
The third-year wide receiver and former blue-chip recruit transferred into FSU last season after a year at LSU. He struggled after pushing for a spot in the starting rotation, recording one of the worst Passer Ratings when targeted in the country (308th out of 312 P4 receivers) as he weaved in and out of the rotation.
However, Brown was considered a bright spot this spring and was praised by Mike Norvell as someone who was making the most of his opportunities.
Brown, a Miami native, is a rising redshirt sophomore.
He's the second former blue-chip 2023 wide receiver from South Florida to depart FSU this week, following Hykeem Williams to the Transfer Portal.
