I haven’t done the research but going from 13 to 2 wins has to be the biggest one year crash ever. There’s occasional teams that go from 10 or 11 wins to 4 or 5 the next year but an 11 win drop-off from the prior season has to be the all time record

Yes. It's one thing to INCREASE wins. A few new coaches or new players can unlock some untapped potential.

But to go from "Undefeated 13-1" to only 2 wins, and only ONE against a decent (around .500) team is just unfathomable and unforgiveable. Yes, F$U lost some guys to the draft. But they had the same coaching staff, and all they needed was for the underclassmen and Portal guys to step up to HALF the level of the team the year before and they would have had 6 wins.

Shocking and, I believe, unprecedented.

Why even recruit anymore, almost 3 out of 4 recruits transfer from there. Doesn’t make sense how they give Norvell credit for developing transfers, but no mention of not developing recruits.

Pretty sure he listed about 50% of the roster. A lot of those dudes were the few blue chippers they actually got.
