For the year, WSU's YPG defense was #80 in YPG while OSU's was #40. In PPG, WSU's defense was #84 while OSU's was #47, about a touchdown difference per game.

So head to head Cam had twice the output DJU did, and against a much better defense than DJU faced that game.
