It’s amazing watching their mods just lie to them. I don’t even know how on one hand he essentially says they’ve wasted time going after Keem and then on the other hand says they’re in in more than their fans know and that 8 wins puts them squarely in the race. He also predicted that they’d go 8-4 and beat Miami. Looking at that schedule and seeing 8 wins is comical.
It's simple. They are selling hope to keep fans engaged.

We know how this story will go.

They're going to be thumping their chests after beating Duquense. Travis will probably complete some passes; I'm pretty sure a quadriplegic could against Duquense, but Nole fans will say that Travis has turned a corner and their defense is Top-15 caliber. We may even see some 1st or 2nd round grades from the Nole faithful regarding Travis.

Bryan Kelly baptizes them for a second straight season, only this time he won't take his foot off the gas and threaten to murder his own team. Louisville should beat them - for being a below-average passer, Cunningham is 40/63 for 542 yards and a 4:0 TD/INT ratio in two seasons vs. the Noles (add some more scores/yds with his legs).

Don't even care what happens vs. BC, because they'll lose to Wake, NC State and Clemson consecutively. At best, they're 4-4 heading into our game (if they beat Louisville and BC), but 3-5 is more realistic. Heck maybe 2-6 if Satterfield and Hafley take care of business.

Cannot wait for Mario's first FSU game. We are going to f^ck them up for 60 minutes, no mercy the entire time. Nole247 will be calling for his head the night of 11/5.

UM is soooo fortunate to have Radakovich as the AD at this incredibly critical time in college football ... NIL and REALIGNMENT. If Blake were still here UM would probably end up in some rehashed BIG 12 / Pac 12 "new super conference" with the leftovers that aren't able to transition to either the BIG 10 or SEC.
It is going to be a coldly calculated financial decision to add teams. I was just looking at one "acc analysts view" of which ACC teams would make the transition to either of the big 2 super conferences (didn't include ND as they can pick their spot).

-Clemson, FSU and Miami .... to the SEC (with Miami and FSU tied together due to the historic rivalry).
-UVA to the BIG 10, UNC to either one (SEC or BIG 10)

Those 5 programs were the teams with the highest probability of being included. The rest of the ACC programs were projected to be left out of those two
conferences ... even though a couple had SOME probability of being considered.

NC State ...out
Louisville ... out
BC ... out
Syracuse ... out
Pitt ... out (showed a 40% probability of interest from the BIG 10)
Va Tech (showed a 40% probability of interest from the SEC
Ga Tech ... out
Duke ... out

In the analysts opinion Miami was to a degree "up in the air" and would have some appeal to the BIG as well as the SEC but was projected to the SEC due to the FSU / UM rivalry and as a package with Clemson. Again ... was just one analysts opinion. But you know the AD's at the other schools (poor BC) are scurrying (except Blake ... who is just thankful he has a contract).
I think the SEC and B1G will be in talks for the next couple of years where everyone will be auditioning to join their conferences.

Once we get rolling, our national TV appeal will take off.

We've made the decision to invest in football at the right time.

AND got the right guy to run the football program ... Mario Cristobal is legit, passionate, LOVES UM, and as he has stated so many times .... it is HOME, family. Guy is relentless and on a mission.
