I think their fans said something along the lines of “norvell and cristobal are gonna dominate recruiting in Florida”. It’s not exactly inaccurate, but what they don’t realize is that cristobal will dominate, and norvell will be like kid brother tagging along and claiming credit

Well the only proven recruiter is Mario. I trust Napier more than I trust Norvell. Napier, like Mario, has been on the job 5 minutes, and already won recruiting battles against Ga and Bama. FSU can't even get a Top 10 class while both Fl and Miami change coaches. That's sad.

Agreed that Napier will get some recruiting wins, especially with Corey Raymond - but he’s still not Mario as a recruiter. The gaytor fans, like Nole fans, were all to eager to lump their guy in with ours to dominate the state.

Yep, I found him saying it on the board too, he was aggressive about how conservative they would be in fact. Newberg seems to think they should be fighting at above a "Tennessee" but not at a "Big Boy" level.

Not sure what the admin can do with the current coach. I just don’t know of many businesses in Tallahassee willing or capable of funding major NIL deals. And Jimbo did a number on the few big money guys who used to fund recruiting — squeezed everything he could out of those boys and then told them it was not enough. I don’t think they have the business community or willing boosters to compete in an unregulated market. Imo, they would need a major splash hire to replace White Willie in order to get the booster money flowing again.
