He called plays at Baylor, he called plays at FAU with Kiffin at HV, he called plays at Houston.

Nah. No pressure. I just remember when we were looking into applewhite as an oc we went back through most things pertaining to him. I saw two separate interviews discussing play calling. I'll look back through my emails if it would help.

I would not state it if I didn't know for a fact. Kendal Briles called his first game in the cotton bowl as the interim OC. The offense went for 550+ yards. That summer he was named OC and continued to call plays for the 2015 season.
