Because when you’re broke there’s just not enough money to go around! You can split the schit pie between 15 or 20 but can’t afford too many top dollar recruits. Smaller class allows them for now to afford a Tashawn Poole. It’s not a deliberate strategy it’s actually the only move they have!

It’s a combination of lack of funds and recruits just don’t want to play for Norvell. Dude is a weirdo and borderline creep. 2024 exposed him bad. He hasn’t recovered and I don’t think he has the mental toughness or personality to ever get back to normal.

There are a lot of weird and goofy coaches out there, but Norvell gives out the worst vibes out of all of them. He’s a loser and the recruits know.

I think Manny would have them in a better situation. Might not be a good situation, but would be better than where they currently stand. I could see him winning 8+’games one season, possibly his 1st or 2nd season with them, but that would be his ceiling. It would all crash back to mediocrity or worse. Winning consistently is not sustainable under Manny.

I’m not so certain. Manny inherited richts roster and had mild early success. But he couldn’t build anything. He then inherited elkos roster and hasn’t had to do a complete rebuild. Taking over a program with absolutely nothing in the cupboard would just expose his program building and recruiting deficiencies.

Wait, haven't you heard that F$U is STACKED now, Prison Mike has recruited so many great players that he is now INTENTIONALLY reducing the size of his recruiting class...

Very true. FSU’s roster is void and deficient right now. Manny wouldn’t have much to work with. However, with the right schedule, I could see Manny having a winning season. The ACC is still garbage. FSU will always schedule at least two OOC cupcakes. UF isn’t that good. Is the ACC going to 9 conference games soon? Now throw in their ACC schedule with at least 6 bad teams and 8 wins is very doable, at least for one season.
