I love idiots like this. Yeah, it’s not the elite athletes that make everyone tune in, it’s the school colors. If that was the case why does nobody give a **** about lower division college football? **** why isn’t intramural flag football being broadcast on ESPN? Yeah let’s chase all the elite players off into a minor league NFL and turn college football into college baseball, a niche sport that 95% of America doesn’t care about.

11-1 with a P4 non conference win and win the ACC is probably enough to get a top 4 seed annually
It worked for Texas tech this year in the B12 and they didn't even play a P4 non conference game.
But I see what you're saying..very little margin for error.
