They just don’t have good players on defense. Especially up front. They don’t have a single guy who would start for us and maybe a handful of guys who would be in the rotation. They haven’t recruited well and the transfer portal guys they picked up are more suited for low P5 type teams.

other than that...it's Miami as ACC Champ

No game day because fsu . One thing I did notice in the Alabama game . Herb is trying down play fsu win by saying Alabama isnt the same team fsu played. . Idgaf one way or another my point this how herb plants little seeds in peoples heads . Prob the real reason why game day isn’t at fsu because Herb might get a bottle tossed at his ***
 
They play man and zone. I believe Beck will pick them apart in zone. If Dawson plays a tight WR rotation it will be harder to take advantage of them in man. In my opinion, we get better separation with a bigger rotation. 2 of our starters aren't good with seperation, but one of those is a boss with 50/50 balls. Beck is very good at ball placement with intermediate and short passes, where he will get them in zone. His deep and sometimes flat passes, need work. When he has no pressure, he can be really good. I will guess we double team Jackson at NT like UVA did and they get no pressure. They will try some blitzes and Beck should make them pay. I am sure they saved something not on tape to throw ar us. Everyone does.

You don't need to be fast to get separation vs man. CJ Daniels puts guys on skates in man with great route running. Not sure why people keep up this narrative that CJ can't get loose or we have some problem here. Keelan is the speed threat. Baby Jesus and CJ will cook all night vs man in intermediate routes. Beck just needs a dry ball to get it in there with timing and velocity.

I think Herb is correct. If FSU and Bama played today Bama would probably win comfortably. The whole team looked unprepared, and Simpson looked jittery and confused that entire game but has played much better since
