Huh??? I don’t root for the Noles, number one. Number two, I hardly read this thread… or the rest of the recruiting and main board for the past 6 months for that matter. I literally read like three posts randomly in here and have no context of anything on this thread which I haven’t followed in years and you’re scolding me??? 🤦🏻‍♂️ Somebody else can deal with it. I don’t give a ****. I’m sure there’s regulars in here like @TheOriginalCane and @OriginalCanesCanesCanes who will gladly defend the honor of nole tears or maybe a Maude who regularly posts in here… they can handle it. @Brains hates noles more than anyone I know. He’ll kill everyone of them in here for you just let him know.

Yeah, it’s logically correct on my opinion but like I said, i rooted against fsu and UiF regardless. I’ll never root for either of them. We should have taken care of business and then it’s not an issue.

Let’s make it really fair. Cap the programs. Every program gets to spend the same amount on their football team. If it’s wrong that some teams can pay players more than others, it’s definitely wrong that some teams have better training facilities, luxury athletic dorms and state of the art stadiums.

It’s crazy that people are totally cool with a small percentage of programs making and spending way more than everyone else but as soon as it involves a player actually getting money it’s some kind of travesty.

I gotta stand up for @RVACane here. For years, he has been the guardian angel of the Gator Tears thread, so I know he understands how these things work here on the Tears threads.

Let's make this simple.

In no way whatsoever do I support the whole "everything is better when Miami can beat our 10-win rivals". **** all that nonsense.

The only thing I have ever said that is even remotely close is how much I enjoyed all the Wide Rights and the Wide Lefts. Because for the rest of the year (and all eternity) I didn't just get to enjoy one of those resigned "yeah, you beat us" reply, but another kind of exquisite and whiny half-protest response about how they SHOULD HAVE beaten us. Fantastic.

But all in, the single-greatest win over F$U was the 31-0 beatdown that we gave them in 1988. I was there. It was all about "the Seminole Rap" and how F$U was pre-season #1 (while we were the defending champs). And we smashed them.

**** F$U (and Florida too). I don't care if they win ANY games every year. I want to see them suffer and I want to see them lose. I enjoy it when all the life and pride and fight leaves the bodies of the arrogant F$U fans.

Frankly, I wouldn't care if we beat a dozen 0-12 teams, as long as we win the national championship.

I hate Talla-*******-hassee, I hate that campus, I hate that stadium, I hate those fans, I hate that team.

I didn’t see @CDWright40 post as scolding you specifically, I thought he was mainly talking about other people, wanting us to “face a highly ranked rival“ as opposed to wanting them to lose every game.

But there is no question regarding @RVACane ‘s cred regarding gaturd (edit: and semenhole) hate, but since he’s a moderator, sometimes he’s forced to take a slight step back and try a little balance every once in a while.

As just a regular porster, I have the luxury of not having to be balanced and therefore, I can be an ******* on this site 24/7.

Now back to hating on that pathetic clown school up in Tallahassee.

You misunderstood me completely. I would never call you a Nole fan- you have always been pretty strict about keeping the tears threads on topic. I was saying I was surprised you were allowing it to go on so long. If I wasn’t clear that’s on me. Carry on in peace.

See my response to RVa. I think I was unclear. I was implying that he so strongly keeps the sanctity of the gator tears thread intact it surprised me that the “root for your rivals” debate was allowed to go on so long. I thought RVA would shut it down.

No worries. I’ve hardly been on the main boards for the past 6 months. I’m just tired of the wash rinse repeat and the bickering. I jump in and out of the middle of things so there’s no full context for me. I literally saw a new poster name in there and opened it up.
