Tears Nole Tears (“Offcial”)

The passing game never got going in the first half. Starting quarterback Jordan Travis was 7-of-13 for 71 passing yards. Tate Rodemaker (3-of-9, 28 yards) and AJ Duffy (1-of-5, 4 yards) both saw action too.

Travis did not see action in the second-half portion. Rodemaker finished the day 5-of-11 for 64 passing yards and a touchdown. Duffy finished 1-of-8 for four yards. English was 1-of-1 for 20 yards, plus his 10-yard rushing touchdown.

The leading receiver for the Seminoles was Pittman with four receptions for 25 yards. The longest completion of the first half went to Wyatt Rector, screen action that sprung for 18 yards.

Campbell pushed his rushing total to six rushes for 46 yards. Hill finished with nine rushes for 37 yards. He also had his 25-yard reception, which ended up being the longest reception of the day.

Wide receiver Mycah Pittman took a tunnel screen in for a score on a two-point conversion at the start of the day, lowering his shoulder to get into the end-zone.

This physicality is one of the aspects that emerged as a strength for the Oregon transfer this spring. Unfortunately, the play also led to an injury.

Pittman came up shaking his arm after the touchdown. He went to the injury tent for about 10 minutes, then exited and went to the locker room shaking his right arm.

Is Duffy really that bad?

I mean, he's young, so he's got time to improve.

Now, Rodemaker...

It wasn't a great outing, but there was growth -- as seen this spring -- compared to last year when Rodemaker got antsy early in the contest and then imploded. It's a good sign that he was able to settle in a little later in the day.

Just to be clear…. Pittman was the guy that was trying to **** on Mario for running the ball too much and then transferred to this offense right? Got it

Fvck Pittman. F$U had ZERO downfield passing. ZERO. Every completion was a short pass, even the ones where they had YAC.

I realize that spring games are not the end-all, but I cannot see how ANY wide receiver prospect could feel good about considering F$U at this point.

So here is an interesting question...

If Miami pays football players for getting good grades, and all our football players get good grades, will the NCAA attack it as being a payout to the entire team, like they are doing over the gym NIL deal with Miami's full football roster?
As soon as you asked if they would come after us, whatever the subject, the answer became “yes”.
