Hope folks realize we have an opportunity to create one of those look-back moments that will be talked about for years. No one gives us a chance. ND has been waiting a year for this game. It’s in South Bend. Cold evening weather. They’re playing the nostalgia card & honoring their late coach - Jimmy Johnson’s little friend. The back seven of our D is a mess. We lose our generational player on the eve of the game. The betting line immediately moves 2 points, making us an even bigger underdog.
My friends, leave South Bend with a W & this goes down as one for the ages.

This is definitely a culture moment. One of those games and opportunities you look back on when we FINALLY win the last game of the year.

ND will play us like no team has played us before schematically. We need to be really good in areas where we have not been very good this season.

I understand why people may be irritated with my point of view, but it's the regard I have for him and it's what shows on tape.

For Belichick to reference a player to receive extra attention, then shift that extra attention to him and him still dominating that football game is about as complimentary as you're going to get.
