Urban Meyer is an elite coach ... An all-time great.

Al Golden is an average mid-major coach. He's in WAY over his head, coaching a team with national title expectations.

I'd correct it to say Al is a lower to mid level MAC coach. That was his record there and nothing he has done at Miami changes that. Meyer has swag. He does, I hate the mutha but when he and Helfrich were on TV, there was no doubt who was the Alpha Dog. He was licking his chops to play Oregon, like Howard, Jimmy, Dennis, and Butch would have been.

Urb is a great coach..but this OSU team is/was LOADED ...they have been recruiting beast since before URB came...and he only added on to it..it was the perfect situation...i called it once he signed it made too much sense...

There was no cloud at OSU. Having said that Urban is a **** of a coach. No other coach gets the most out of his roster like he does. Excellent game day coach
