How good is this defense really?

Stats versus FBS (1-A) opponents per cfbstats.com:

#48 scoring defense (25.0 ppg)
#38 rush defense (147.1 rush ypg)
#30 pass defense (198.6 pass ypg)
#22 total defense (345.7 ypg)
#52 in sacks (22 sacks on the season)
#46 in interceptions (10 on the season)
#112 in TFL (44 on the season)
#74 in opponent 3rd down percentage (allowing 41.06% conversions)
#46 in opponent 4th down percentage (allowing 47.37% conversions)
#61 in opponent redzone scoring percentage (83.33% scoring in redzone)
#68 in opponent redzone TD percentage (61.11% opponents score a TD once they get in the redzone)

Looks like a really ******* average defense, at best.

Nobody wants Golden! Don't fool yourself! There ain't a FBS school that would hire this Bull****er! The U is the only school that actually thinks he's a ******* coach. The U needs students like UM (Michigan), demand a change or won't attend games.

The students already don't attend games. It would mean more if they suddenly stopped going.

If Golden's back we're ****ed anyway. Might as well get crushed and seal the deal already.

Honestly I think biggest problem is DL coach but something absolutely needs to change on defense for next year or else there will be riots.

So Folden still lost 5 to 7 games with a DC nominated for the Broyles? And we still got dopey clowns looking to scapegoat assistants and keep Folden?

Folden gave some of you boys the draw leg soup. You hypnotized.

At this point I can only speak for myself. If dorito is retained, I will spend zero dollars on UM athletics until that changes. Im actually okay with Al getting another year, but again, if he retains dorito, Im out.

And I will likely get involved in one of those banner campaigns, which Ive avoided to date. Basically, I will declare jihad on the UM athletic department from a PR perspective.

I dont have a problem with d i have a problem with coley

are you retarded or just the dumbest person on this board? You don't have a problem with No d because you have AG nuts lodged in the back of your throat

This. Plus we slow the pace of the game so the yardage stats look better.

59th in INTs, our CBs have 3 INTs all year long.
112 in TFL
Our DL has 8 sacks all year long

All signs of a passive *** defense. Access to the best HS football in America, know for their aggressiveness. Only staff in America that would play the way we do.

Negged.

Maybe because you can't wait to see FSU win that next title?

That's a good awful post. How the **** did he become a moderator here with this sickening thought process?

He's ok with keeping the HC who lost 4 games last year and will lose 5 to 7 this year with better talent, a markedly improved defense, and a better QB. But he's adamant in wanting the DC, who improved the defense from the 80s to top 15, fired. Who the fck is this backward?

Broyles Award candidates are nominated by FBS head coaches. Each head coach can pick one assistant.

lolz Gorlden, I see you, you slimeball

More likely, it'd be one of our rivals making a boss move.

No, the trolls have been out in force against coley without any justification. Dudes probably a bust, but they've got him targeted for an unknown motive anyway. Probably bitter semenoles.

Miami's defensive coordinator getting nominated for an award devalues not only that award but any award in any profession.

He is more worthy of Nobel Peace prize. He has years on real life experience practicing passive non-violence. He calls it defense.
