No reason to worry about us firing Golden...

Competitive in 1st half but Al has been outscored almost 3:1 after halftime in losses. That's a tough sell in any interview. Al getting or leaving voluntarily for a new offer would be a shocker.

I think Al Golden would do good at a program like Rutgers i think Miami is a little to fast for these Jersey guys. I believe Al Golden will be a great coach one day but not at THE U.

That fat **** is not going to leave when he has Brad Kaaya. He's going to ride the Kaaya wave for two years, then bolt. Bank on it.

What's scary is that he will bolt after wasting the best QB prospect this program has seen in three decades to the tune of 8/9 maybe 10 wins the final year. I guess off 7-5 that is technically trending upwards though......

He's going to be a real hot prospect coming off a 6-7 season with a roster that has the best NFL talent in the country.

It crazy that some believe this.......
The extreme level of rationalization I've seen on display on this site is impressive. Plus what has Al really done in terms of the cloud? He stuck around? That had value when we were still under his used car salesman spell that he was the real deal, but in hindsight what did he real do? People act like it was him who negotiated a deal with the NCAA.
The "he stuck with us through the ncaa ordeal" is the biggest crock of **** I've ever heard. He was getting paid $2.5M to lose 5 games per year.

Where the **** was he going? Who wanted him?

After he groveled so hard for the ped state job last year does anyone with an IQ above cottage cheese think he would have turned down another job that he wanted if it was offered to him during the ncaa investigation?

he was on the quick to restructure his own deal though

I hope you're right, but terms like "willing to bet" "no doubt" "pretty convinced" etc... preceding pure speculation do not give much to get excited about.

It sounds like you're trying to convince yourself as much as the rest of us.
