I refuse to believe that the dudes aren’t down here.
I mean look at img. All that alleged talent and even they have oline problems.
Sofla is surviving in skill talent cause the kids are basically surviving on the amount of dudes that have played in college that are down here coaching them. You see it in the parks all the time. Remember the video that was posted of Rumph coaching tyson as a jit.
They’re surviving on their own out there by themselves in the parks and on the beaches.
The great coaches aren’t coaching here anymore cause our school system is broke. Then we wonder why certain kids are steered towards certain programs. You get some great oline coaches down here and the tri county area would also be putting out trench bullies in D1.
Do you know how much money a hs coach gets in Texas or SoCal?

It does not matter how you spin it. Searles has to go. You can have the best talent in the world, if they are not disciplined it is counter productive. We watched penalty after penalty from the OL last game. Our offense is not good enough to consistently overcome penalties. That is problem number one.

The second major issue is player development. LD has regressed. ST Louis has regressed. Scaife has not progressed at all since entering the starting lineup. If Searles cannot get those players ready he has no business being here. A talented OL coach would come in here slobbering at the amount of talent. Searles has found a way to completely ***** up every player on this roster.

Does their youth come into play. Asking an 18 year old kid to play tackle at this level is asking a lot.
Not saying Searles is the answer but most dominant lines are with juniors and seniors starting even 5th year seniors cause a lot of lineman redshirt.

Your better big men prefer defense. Good defensive lineman get much more recognition and OL is the lowest paid position group in NFL

Texas takes its football way serious, people just don't realize. Just a couple notes from pac's post, Todd Dodge, who I played with, makes 133k, when he was at Southlake Carroll he went 79-1 with 4 state titles, he played QB at UT but was average. Katy just had a new stadium built to the tune of 72 million, they have 8 or 9 recent titles, this is both 6a. Last year at Jerry world for state championships they had 245,000 people show over that weekend. Jerry Jones grandson is a scappy little QB that won his second title, signed with the Hogs. So yea, some good football around here, no reason at all for Tom Herman to not kill it at UT. Austin Westlake keeps pumping out d1 quarterbacks like nothing, I feel like Butch would be all over that, he has a lot of ties from his Cowboy days, and he can walk in a kids home sporting 2 super bowl rings. Jimmy had a good pipeline going but I don't remember Dennis keeping it up

Yes he does, and Blake can go with him. It is mind boggling to me that when he watches any other college game on TV a light don't come on, nearly all of em make our offense look like Johnny Unitas

Hope the fire them both together so we can have someone competent heading the coaching search

As I've said, play calls can greatly help the o-line. Also, teaching kids how to leverage is a big plus as well.

Damm right it would help, but Mork is gonna run betwix them tackles come **** or high water, he don't give a damm how many guys they have stacked in there, if every man gets his man the play will work. I get so tired of watching him run into a stacked D I'm just smh the whole game, talk about putting your online at a disadvantage, he just ain't all there is all I can come up with. High schools here have better scheming than Mork does, how did he ever get this offensive/ QB guru status I've heard of, unbelievable.

What dont people understand that these guys have to wake up for USF (USF yes USF thats it and USF is trash too) and then there bowl game thats it..........why is that hard to understand. They would get mauled in a p5 and thats that. Temple scored like 800 points against these guys my goodness wtf. Do they have great x's and o's for that specific conference? Yes but they should never be used as an example they are irrelevant and are going through a little good spot for there program.......u can do this every 2 or 3 years as a team in a bad conference. They always have these Cinderellas that play no one and go on a tiny run because the schedule allows it. Perfect example is look at that HC now at Nebraska hes getting bodied by real talent.
