Time to go to Canada and get some of them lumberjacks.
Yup, and TexasTime to go to Canada and get some of them lumberjacks.
How'd Pastor do it at UGA for so long? There are countless examples of other schools fielding very good offenses without blue chip players.
The pathetic displays we see week-in and week-out are purely coaching and development.
Does their youth come into play. Asking an 18 year old kid to play tackle at this level is asking a lot.It does not matter how you spin it. Searles has to go. You can have the best talent in the world, if they are not disciplined it is counter productive. We watched penalty after penalty from the OL last game. Our offense is not good enough to consistently overcome penalties. That is problem number one.
The second major issue is player development. LD has regressed. ST Louis has regressed. Scaife has not progressed at all since entering the starting lineup. If Searles cannot get those players ready he has no business being here. A talented OL coach would come in here slobbering at the amount of talent. Searles has found a way to completely ***** up every player on this roster.
Exactly and without injuriesWhat other team in the latter part of a season is still rotating guys in and out trying to find the best starting combination for the offensive line?
Yes he does, and Blake can go with him. It is mind boggling to me that when he watches any other college game on TV a light don't come on, nearly all of em make our offense look like Johnny UnitasAll about scheme ... not much changed in terms of talent from O’Leary to frost ... he just modernized the game which is why richt has got to go
Hope the fire them both together so we can have someone competent heading the coaching searchYes he does, and Blake can go with him. It is mind boggling to me that when he watches any other college game on TV a light don't come on, nearly all of em make our offense look like Johnny Unitas
Damm right it would help, but Mork is gonna run betwix them tackles come **** or high water, he don't give a damm how many guys they have stacked in there, if every man gets his man the play will work. I get so tired of watching him run into a stacked D I'm just smh the whole game, talk about putting your online at a disadvantage, he just ain't all there is all I can come up with. High schools here have better scheming than Mork does, how did he ever get this offensive/ QB guru status I've heard of, unbelievable. As I've said, play calls can greatly help the o-line. Also, teaching kids how to leverage is a big plus as well.
