No more golden comparisons

Absolutely love the fact that so many fans stayed back to show our players love. The rest of the stadium was completely empty, aside from our section. That had to be a feel good moment for our players!
I've watched this several times reg and I get chills every time. It's great to see many fans haven't given up on our guys. I haven't. And the guys **** sure haven't given up evidenced by the *** kicking they put on those semenholes.

It's human nature to focus on the negative and there's been plenty of it. But there are some positives that we can take some solace in. I hope they can keep the momentum up the rest of the season.

I agree with the poster that said Manny could be maturing as a HC before our eyes. Yeah he had some losses this season that he will look back on in the offseason and want to drink himself into a coma. (GT being the main one). But he finally has this team confident in itself, they found a QB that the whole team and fanbase can rally around, the OL has played **** good the last two games against STOUT DLs, and we are going into the back half of the schedule and hitting our stride at the right time.

The defense isn't going anywhere. Good luck to any team going up against this DL. As long as Enos can put up more then 21 points, we should be in good shape. Long way to go though. UL has proven that they are no joke on offense. Should be fun! Was going to sit out this game but I will make an appearance and send off this Senior class after that performance this past Sat. They earned it.

im not a manny supporter BUT golden is still the only coach in the last 40 years who never beat FSU lol
Also, Manny got a win over UVA. i think golden had one top 25 win the whole time he was here
On one hand, Jimbo had it rolling when Folden was there. On another hand, you have to be an absolute ****bag coach to not beat FSU, once.

Let's not make this FSU win out to be any more than what it really is. Which was a fantastic feeling win against a rival and a good comprehensive beating of a horrible team.

All the kudos in the world to Manny for never once having the players quit on the coaching staff -- despite what the delusional clowns on this board may want you to believe -- but the real turning of the corner for Manny will be to win out the remaining three games and to not lose ANY momentum in style points.

Please god don't give me Richt style of wins -- clinging to life against 1-11 UNC and ****.

Based upon strength of schedule, this should be a 1 loss team. A nice looking win against the least talented and worst coached fsu team in 30 years doesn't change that. Although with our administration, it probably bought Manny an extra year.

We’ve been horrible in so many ways this year but if we had a kicker we might be a one loss team 😂

Either way, I think Manny has to get rid of Enos. It’s just not cutting it and with an average offense we wouldn’t have needed field goals to beat GT.

I expect the offense looks better from here out with Jarren healthy and the OL maturing but I still don’t think Enos should survive this season

Yes, but it was UF.

Even if we can finish the regular season 8-4, only way I think we have a positive outlook is if we beat a good team in a bowl, or make it to the ACC title game and compete (or win it). I’m sorry but the loss to a crappy GA Tech team is disturbing, the offense still struggles to score and move the ball with any consistency and the schedule is so weak. Not trying to be pessimistic but we’ve seen this before. We should be scoring at minimum in the 30s. I think at best we’re at the 3rd tier on the national level with Alabama, Clemson and OSU at the top then LSU, UGA, OU, PSU, AU and the likes the next tier in recent years with a big gap.

Golden is also the only coach recently that went against GOOD FSU teams. Randy got Bobby at the end of his career. Richt got FSU on their way down. Diaz got them at rock bottom. Stop acting like Golden lost to crappy FSU teams, and everyone else beat good ones. The last coach we had that beat a GOOD FSU team was Larry Coker.
