No more golden comparisons

Golden's Ws over OSU and UF far more impressive than Manuela's W in Tally. From my view, Diaz signature win is UVA, completely erased by UF, UNC, VT, and GT. To be sure, they are screaming in Charlottesvile, "how did we lose to those guys!?"

4-17 will haunt him possibly forever. The L to GT will define a portion of his legacy as a HC forever--and that is for certain. F[]ck sake, Stranahan could beat GT--the loss is that much of a black mark.

Our fanbase wants to take joy in the defeat of FSU--we should on some level anytime the spear is broken.

With that said, FSU, like Miami is a late years Sugar Ray Robinson-esque figure. Too punch drunk to fight, but still somewhat (and rapidly diminishing at that) of a name other competitors make their own names against. Saturday's W was on par with those cruel "bum fight" videos.

Not a single team in ACC is concerned about either squad--can it be fixed?

Sure, ask SMU.

My memory of the Golden days was that we'd get a lead and then let the opposition beat us in the fourth. Whether that was conditioning or failure to adjust, I don't know. Neither seems to be the case with Manny.

Hate to defend the bum but FSU was a top 10 when AG went against them

Ummmm..So were we..People seem to want to forget that sometimes because it was "fools gold" but when we faced them in 2013 we were the #7 team in the country. Lets stop with the "FSU was great and we sucked" narrative. Golden had talent in his era.

That said, one poster said it best, why is this even an argument? Who gives a ****. We won, FSU lost. Time to move on to UL. Bigger fish to fry now. FSU has their own problems to iron out.

I hardly remember us ever having a lead while Folden was coach! Lol
