No more golden comparisons

Manny is doing work. He looked like a deer in headlights going back to the CMU game, but he looks to be growing into the position and just looks like a more confident guy on the sidelines. He is a first time head coach so I knew there would be growing pains, but I see positive signs. This team has not quit once all season and that is something that has been missing here for years. He was not handed a championship program by any stretch of the imagination. He is changing the culture of this program and it is great to see. Time will tell what kind of a program he can build. He has a lot more work to do but I am encouraged.

True.

Golden definitely caught FSU at the wrong time. Still should’ve beat them in ‘14 and ‘15 though.

That FSU team yesterday reminded me of the 2007 version.

No arguments. Golden sucked donkey ****. Although, Saturday, was a lot of fun, Diaz hasn’t done anything yet.

Even if we can finish the regular season 8-4, only way I think we have a positive outlook is if we beat a good team in a bowl, or make it to the ACC title game and compete (or win it). I’m sorry but the loss to a crappy GA Tech team is disturbing, the offense still struggles to score and move the ball with any consistency and the schedule is so weak. Not trying to be pessimistic but we’ve seen this before. We should be scoring at minimum in the 30s. I think at best we’re at the 3rd tier on the national level with Alabama, Clemson and OSU at the top then LSU, UGA, OU, PSU, AU and the likes the next tier in recent years with a big gap.

We’ll find out this offseason if Manny is the guy. It doesn’t matter if we win out including a bowl victory, changes need to be made to this staff. A 9 win season is the ceiling with the assistants Manny currently has surrounding him. Show Enos the door first and have Graham Harrell walking in as Enos leaves.

Based upon strength of schedule, this should be a 1 loss team. A nice looking win against the least talented and worst coached fsu team in 30 years doesn't change that. Although with our administration, it probably bought Manny an extra year.
