No McCloud = best run D performance

Lazy tackling, bad angles and missed tackles all reared their ugly head today

The first game where all we really had to worry about was the backfield
The QB was never going to beat us with his arm.

Uh no. They got 100 yards less than their average. V tech number 4 rushing team in the country.

virginia tech averages 277 rush yards per game and we held them to 160 at 3.9 ypc. the long run by hooker was bad and then there was a rough series or two in the 3rd quarter but otherwise we did a really solid job of stopping the run.

Yeah but at one point, Hokies were walking all over us. Kinda stopped once the 4th quarter started

Pitt had 22 rushing yards. 0.8 YPC.
