I think it's safe to say this is one of the best UM defenses of all time. '86, '87, '01, and '03 were ridiculous but this one is right up there. They just don't break.

Nowhere near as close to this defense. I couldn't stand watching those defenses get TFLs on 1st and 2nd and then give up a 17 yard pass for a first down over and over again.

All Manny era defenses were just smoke and mirrors. Horrible tackling, horrible execution, missed assignments. There is no comparison. Heatherman's defense ***** all over any Manny defense.
