What happened to "I've gotten 250 texts from people wanting jobs...." or whatever it is I heard him tell DBJ on the radio??? I guess they're not texts from anyone that was on his staff at UGA.

And FWIW ... I'd love to relocate to South Florida. But I know a lot of "southern" folks who have no interest in being there for longer than the time it takes to vacation.

Assuming this is true, Lilly is one of those "southerners".
 
This is a general comment, not specific to any one coach, but the cost of living in Coral Gables is ridiculous. Housing, property taxes, house insurance, car insurance, etc. unfortunately outweigh the income tax savings.

You ever think he offered the job to the guys at UGA first?
 
I'm kind of glad that a bunch of assistants who helped get him fired won't be on his UM staff. Maybe he'll get lucky and fall into some better coaches. The budget is there. Be gone, hayseed assistants!

That's a good question. I sure hope they were his plan As because if they were his fall backs, Richt be scrambling now. Howevah, if they were his Plan As, why did it take so long for them to say no thanks? The answer to that question may indicate they were his plan Bs.

I really have no idea as I have zero sauces in any camp... I just think it's strange that none of his coaches from UGA are following him. It's actually surprising as I kept hearing what a great guy he is to work for.

I'm sure that's exactly what he did. If we don't know anything by 2nd week of January then we should be concerned.
 
Looks like most of the offensive side will be same coaches we have this year in my opinion only richt will hopefully be calling plays. Let's just hope he can get some people on the defensive side
