No chance Diaz and Blake are both back

There's no way he can make that far with his offense.
Imo, the only way it would make sense for him to leave is if Oregon refuses to extend him, then he can come to Miami and get paid

Playoff will be

Bama
UGA
Oklahoma
Ohio St

Have to look at bad loss. Yes, Ohio St lost to Oregon in head to head, but that would be their only loss (my guess is Oregon will finish regular season at #5 or #6). Oregon lost to a Stanford team that will finish under .500. That will cost them the playoff spot unless there is another big upset somewhere.

No coach worth his salt will go work under number one a mediocre DC that has control problems , he has to be the smaetest guy in the room, and a hc coach on the hot seat.

You’ll either have to crazily over spend or take a nobody from a small school. No big name dc will risk his reputation and career on a lame suck coach. Miami knows this, that’s why it’s accg or bust for him. Keeping him around an extra year will prolong the inevitable and will kill two recruiting classes in a row versus only one.
So 8-4 and a Pitt win and he’s still fired?

We’d have to make a really good offer and show him we’re serious. And that doesn’t guarantee him coming. I still say 50-50 because things haven’t gotten real yet. Not hiring him three years ago will make this extremely hard.
It will help the Blake the snake will be gone.

Being an analyst involves less risk and work. It's become a way for fired coaches to rehabilitate, which is somewhat strange. If you want another head coaching job, like Muschamp, may be better served to go the analyst route for a year. Less stress, more time with family, too.
and he ended up as an on field coach at UGA anyway when their special teams coach took a leave of absence.

If he was here Mario and others wouldn‘t come . This is why I was always confident he was gone
I hear what you’re saying about 3 years ago but I get the feeling he doesn’t feel like a king in Eugene anyway I mean if he loses to Utah and Oregon state who knows how their fans start to feel about him. This is home a better recruiting base And more bargaining power than three years ago. Don’t discount the fact that a splash hire would make the university look great after the game day call out

Watch Manny spin the Michigan State loss and say we were right there until things kinda fell off in the fourth but if we were what we are now we could have gotten the win. Watch and see Political Manny work if we win out smfh.
He can spin it, we were in it until King got hurt and started turning the ball over left and right and Michigan state is a Top 10 team.

there may be a wrinkle in the Mario hiring.

looking at his schedule, he looks like he's going to win out the remaining games and if he wins his conference championship he will make the playoffs. if that happens, will he actually leave?

what if he wins the semi final game and goes to the title game? will he actually leave?

and if wins the title? will he leave?

by the way, his sole loss this year is vs Stanford, not a good look until you realize that his OC went down to an illness before the game and they had to improvise on the run.
The loss to Stanford also needs to be taken in to context.

1. His OC wasn’t there calling plays

2. There were two really, reeeeeally questionable calls that enabled Stanford to win that game.

Yeah, he made some bone headed coaching decisions, but Oregon got hosed on that last drive.

The fact is, if Oregon wins out, the likelihood of them now making the playoffs w/ MSU losing is pretty high. That win on the road at OSU is looming large now that it appears OSU is most likely going to win out.

Honestly, Mario seemed more Jon Gruden-esq vs. Al Golden-esq, meaning pipe dream vs reality. If Oregon makes the playoffs, Oregon will cash out on him, imo. He’s doing this w/ an inconsistent QB, star RB, & one of his star LB gone for the season. Oregon has big money.

Because they assumed manny was getting away from so much zone by hiring a man specialist cb coach. But manny once again proved he’s in way over his head and isn’t as smart as he thinks he is.
We don't run all zone though. We still run a lot of man which our CBs have struggled, they were getting torched against Pitt whenever they lined up in press

We run majority zone and bail technique. When we do run man it’s with a cushion or bail technique and it’s off a blitz. Press is when you put your hands on a wr and jam them. Even when we like up in a wr’s face we bail.

Stanford is really bad this year though. They just lost by 45 at home to Utah, a solid team, but hardly Alabama.

After watching a couple of Oregon games this year, my biggest concern is why is the transfer from BC the best option they have at QB? He is really bad.

The more games they play, it appears Oregon is pulling this off with smoke and mirrors. The OSU victory is impressive, but it looks more and more like a day where Oregon played their best possible game and OSU played their worst.

I think Mario could definitely work out here. I just don't think it is a slam dunk at all.

Does JW0/ kitchens/ Tyrique come to Miami if T-Rob wasn’t here? If he goes what stops them from following him? I’m asking if anyone knows? Not giving an opinion
