No chance Diaz and Blake are both back

Stanford is really bad this year though. They just lost by 45 at home to Utah, a solid team, but hardly Alabama.

After watching a couple of Oregon games this year, my biggest concern is why is the transfer from BC the best option they have at QB? He is really bad.

The more games they play, it appears Oregon is pulling this off with smoke and mirrors. The OSU victory is impressive, but it looks more and more like a day where Oregon played their best possible game and OSU played their worst.

I think Mario could definitely work out here. I just don't think it is a slam dunk at all.
I’m not a pro Mario guy. However, I think b/c of the success he’s having at Oregon, it will translate very well here. If anything, we would be stacking talent & just out talenting inferior Coastal Opponents. I think we could rack up division crowns, probably some conference crowns & flirt w/ the CFP every year. Not sure if we win titles w/ him though. I would not be mad at the hire, but again, I just don’t see it. Feels more pipe dream than actuality.

Pretty clear to me Manny has reason to believe he can survive this.
if manny closes out the regular season without another loss, i could see the new ad (whom i hope is highsmith) keeping him, without extending him, with the clear stipulation that if we fall out of playoff contention next year manny is done. honestly, would be surprised if manny would come back to coach the team in such a pressure cooker.

I’m with you on that. Problem is if we don’t land Mario, which quality football coach can we land with USC/LSU and maybe even Florida looking for a new coach?

Them 3 getting first dibs.

Lol wonderful.

So we will have a DC that knows what he’s doing, an OC that kind of does, and still retain the HC that we all know has no f*cking clue what he’s doing. Makes sense when considering…. It’s UM.

Manny has GOT TO GO under any circumstance
Of course he does. That would be the logical thing to do.

But this is Miami. This is the University of Miami Board of Trustees. You’re expecting some of the wealthiest people in South Florida to do right by the Football Program.

Reconsider.
