No chance Diaz and Blake are both back

All this really should guarantee is that Manny took Blake down with him. Like not Blake reassigned somewhere else here at 75% of his current salary but Blake living in a Residence Inn Suites in Bumblefuk, Maine hoping for a second interview at Bates College.

Kudos to Manny on this front big picture wise (even if it's just a lame attempt to save his own ***) because Blake's continued influence here is actually the bigger cancer than an inept head corch.

Or just believes he can. Most coaches do. With our effing track record his belief is probably justified but I really do think a lot of coaches are legitimately surprised when they're canned even when it was obvious to the entire world. They always seemingly think they had one more year.

If we win out and Manny cleans his hands of the defense, maybe. We're not taking the next step with his defense/defensive recruiting, and I don't foresee us ever winning big with Manny, so what needs to happen eventually should happen immediately, IMO.

But if we have to cut the head off of only one snake this year, it's gotta be James.

Agree 100% but the university of Miami rarely does what any of us thinks they should do so curious what the crowd thinks

I'm 99% certain this is exactly what is going to happen. Unless someone reaches out to Mario and he says he wants the job immediately. I mean, unless Manny totally messes something up in these next 3 weeks, how do you fire a guy on a 6-game winning streak? That would be pretty savage for any program regardless. Not saying he doesn't deserve it because he does but that's just reality.

As a DT. Bubba Smith was a beast. A true HOF, player and one of the all time greats .

Rousseau is s nice player, but that's like comparing a Chevy to a Ferrari

Devils bargain but I'd rather see James get fired and Diaz stay than the other way around. If Officer Hightower evaluates the program and decides to retain Diaz for one more year (through the end of his contract) , I will respect the decision.
