Wow, a OL coach who can develop and recruit. Wonder if he would leave Colorado that quickly.
Miami can always do another buyout

$2.5 mil? If that what it takes, he won't be the OC.We need to offer Fedora $2.5m, that should keep all other schools away.

Does it matter what we offer.....What he makes will be deducted from the amount UNC is paying him or am I wrong on this
Randy Shannon could have gone lots of places, but wanted to stay in Florida and accepted a 333k/yr salary from UCF since UF is paying him 1.4 mil through 2020. Fedora got a 12 million dollar buyout (3 mil for each year on his contract). Since Diaz appears to have mad respect for Fedora, maybe he does it for a reasonable fee since he already is getting paid bigtime, just so he can win rebuild rep as OC guru, win the ACC, then land another bigtime P5 job in 2020.
if not fedora, I would love to get Matt Canada.
Our salary pool is 4 mill. Y’all need to temper expectations
We may be in a better situation then you think. First, Diaz is probably not getting paid what Richt made. Second, we likely didn't give away all of Diaz's money to Banda and Patke. Last, we got rid of Duggans and Brown who were overpaid.
You get what you pay for. I’m sure manny is making at least 3.5 mill. We just paid his buyout of 4 mill.
4 mill salary pool is buns.
Whatever OC we likely hire will be north of 700k. For arguments sake let’s say we drop 1mil on an OC. We have 4 offensive coaches to hire and 1 special teams hire. Who know what happenes with the defensive staff. 4 mill staff budget ain’t gonna cut it, especially if we want quality coaches.
What’re u talking about? Money isn’t an issue. Our salary pool is 4 mill. Y’all need to temper expectations
Waterboy
What’re u talking about? Money isn’t an issue.
Plus, an additional $1 mil was dug up for an OC and manny was offered $1.5 mil to stay as dc.Exactly. Football coaching salaries were $10.2 million for FY 2018 with Richt making roughly $4M of that.
With Manny likely making less than $4M at least for now, how in the world do you figure that the pool of money for assistants has gone down? May want to check your sources bud.
Really dumbneed one o r two more recruiting cycles before we are at the point where we can beat Clemson and bama on a regular basis.
was gonna say waterboy or towelboy
