N'Kosi Perry looked meh...

Williams is going to be a stud. Love the way the throws the ball and the confidence.

Lackadaisical and stared down receivers. He is not a panacea. This team has so many problems though. Unless he is cam newton, he isn’t fixing them.

He stared Cager down from before the snap. It was a good throw, but against a legitimate team it’s an interception.
 
His first college snap... give him a break..

The best thing about 4 QBs playing well is we didn't have our punter on the fireld during a critical point in a game so he could Tank-n-Shank.

Ccorrect, Rosher as announcers have been calling him, is exactly the same as the beginning of last year, and he will not change. God Richt is hard headed, this kid has absolutely no future on a football field, so why not move on. I would start Williams next week and let him play first half, then let Kosi close it out, I think one will step up, Williams. Richt needs to get his *** in gear, he is supposed to know something about quarterbacks, he acts like he's got 10 years to make a decision. We have way to many athletes to be struggling, and every coach in cfb knows how to beat rosier. Richts play calling sucks, even women in the stands know what's coming, hard headed sob, no wonder UGA fired his ***, and they ain't looked back either.

Its Savannah state he wasn't going to win the job over in one game, stop being unrealistic this transition will take another game or 2

Cager’s inside move is legit, though. It’s easy to see why he has the best shuttle time. I’d like to see that more often. Not many DBs can recover once 6’5” 220 has inside position.

Hopefully we at least rotate series next weekend. Even 2-1 Rosier to start. The go with whoever has the hot hand.

Do that over the next 2-3 weeks, and if Perry can't win it by then, it's not meant to be.
 
If you are just judging by what you actually see on the field, rosier is the worst of the whole bunch

Agree he looked meh and I was never a big fan to begin with. But he looks and plays like a real QB which isn't something that can be said about Rosier. We need a QB that will make DCs think twice about stacking the box like Pitt and LSU did. I'll take a mistake-prone Perry if he's at least a threat to hit downfield throws. But against the crap teams Rosier gives the team a decent floor with his running ability and fear of throwing into traffic.
 
After watching Samford’s offense, it’s so obvious that our system is elementary. I mean other than JT, we never have WRs open. There is always a DB draped all over him.

You guys have to see that this system is crap. Even Aranda called us out BEFORE the game.

Look everyone, it’s a message board troll saying a Freshman’s first 4 drives in his career were “meh” just so he can hopefully come come back one day to show he was right. Never seen this prophet schtick before....
 
I wish one of these guys would show they'll take the job from Rosier....unfortunately, it was not in this game. Yes, Rosier was again horribly off in the first 2 drives of the game. That one on 3rd down where he rolled to his left was particularly atrocious.

However, he did finish 8 of 12 and the bomb to JT was perfectly placed (amazingly). Hopefully Richt gives the young guys opportunities next week as well and they take advantage of it. IMO, it's tough to say any of these younger guys earned the right to take the starting spot from Rosier so far.

What exactly did Williams show last night that warrants him moving from 4th to starter and making his first start on the road vs Toledo?
 
Im a say either Weldon or Williams. Even over Malik. Nkosi looked scared and like he wasnt reading anything just doing what he already planned. Jaren and Weldon looked like much more adept runners and even like they were reading the D a little. Really need to see more of these guys next week. Right now I would have Weldon and Jaren as numbers 1s battling it out with Malik as number 3 and Nkosi and 4th. Malik has proven he is a practice player who just cant bring to the game what he did in practice. Red shirting Jaren wouldnt be a bad play at this point if there wasnt much difference between him and Weldon.
