Williams is going to be a stud. Love the way the throws the ball and the confidence.
N’Kosi’s TD throw on the slant to Cager was all I needed to see. That’s a tight window and Malik can’t make that throw; the man would have probably sailed it too high or panicked and scrambled only to throw the ball away.
You sound crazy. He completed 1 pass vs their backups. He hasnt pulled away from anybody. That's all you need. Few throws, few runs, few handoffs....and he's firmly entrenched. Pulled away from the pack.
He should look comfortable and poise playing vs walk ons.First pass was a perfect strike. Second pass was right on the money but Pope slipped. Third pass was a 50/50 ball to Njoku in the end zone. Nice touch. Solid defensive play. Williams looked very comfortable and poised.
Ccorrect, Rosher as announcers have been calling him, is exactly the same as the beginning of last year, and he will not change. God Richt is hard headed, this kid has absolutely no future on a football field, so why not move on. I would start Williams next week and let him play first half, then let Kosi close it out, I think one will step up, Williams. Richt needs to get his *** in gear, he is supposed to know something about quarterbacks, he acts like he's got 10 years to make a decision. We have way to many athletes to be struggling, and every coach in cfb knows how to beat rosier. Richts play calling sucks, even women in the stands know what's coming, hard headed sob, no wonder UGA fired his ***, and they ain't looked back either. One confirmation.... biased or not.. Rosier looked the same.
Yeah, it's a shame. Perry was given a chance to really run away with it, but it didn't happen, imo.
Cager’s inside move is legit, though. It’s easy to see why he has the best shuttle time. I’d like to see that more often. Not many DBs can recover once 6’5” 220 has inside position. He stared Cager down from before the snap. It was a good throw, but against a legitimate team it’s an interception.
Hopefully we at least rotate series next weekend. Even 2-1 Rosier to start. The go with whoever has the hot hand. Its Savannah state he wasn't going to win the job over in one game, stop being unrealistic this transition will take another game or 2
To a starving person a saltine cracker looks like a steak. Yall some starvin ****'s if you liked what you saw from Perry tonight against maybe the worst team in CFB. He isn't that accurate, he stares down receivers, and he doesnt make smart plays. From what I saw at the spring game and tonight Jarren Williams clearly has the most upside. I do agree we have to get some other guys in the game, but I just do not like Perry as much as I like Williams. Weldon also looks faster then Perry. I dont know mane
