N'Kosi Perry looked meh...

i took alot of heat in spring for saying jarren is the better prospect. he just looks the roll. Perry also throws a wobbly ball.
Long term Jarren is the better prospect but Perry has ability too

I agree with you. Said after Weldon went in I just didn’t think Perry did enough to earn more pt. Jarren looked to throw the best ball of all the QB’s.

F$U is losing to Samford, so OP had to start this dumb *** thread to divert attention away from what's currently happening at Doak.

Yeah, it's a shame. Perry was given a chance to really run away with it, but it didn't happen, imo.

our fans are desperate for some athletic QB. they thought they had it in NKOSI.

He looked pretty bad tonight. Looked like he had zero control and can't read defenses.

Looked exactly like a 7 vs 7 scrimmage QB

Y’all crazy outside of that one throw he was solid for his first outing... wasn’t great but was still pretty good nonetheless . he made some plays and that’s all you can want to see at this point.

It's too early to make a call on any of them.

Savannah St is the worst team in the MEAC & quite possibly all of college football, they're moving down to Division 2 next year.

This was the first game that any of the 3 QB's have ever played in, none of them had ever thrown a pass before in a real game until now. You can't judge any of the 3 off this one game.

They all made some plays, but it was against a team that's no better than a Juco squad. Neither Jarren or Weldon got to play enough for anybody to crown either one of'em. They were playing mop up duty late in the 3rd (Weldon) & late in the 4th (Jarren) vs 3rd/4th stringers when the game was already out of reach.

Yall should wait to see how they look in a real game vs Toledo, UNC or FSU before crowning or throwing away any of them. And as for 2019, long long ways til Fall camp 2019, things are bound to change over the next year, both good & bad for all 3. Just give it time.

Disagree. He played nervous, but the guy is talented. Only negative outside of the int, he doesn’t really throw a tight spiral. Accurate, but not clean.

I’m glad he threw the interception.

Perry was the only backup QB to actually perform in the game. 3 TDs. Yes, 1 INT. Weldon had a nice TD run off an option. Jarren completed 1 pass, and a 1 yard TD run.

And porsters want Williams to start because he ‘looks the part’.

How many points does that get?

Like others have said perry did play tentative at times and you can tell that because it was a few plays where he actually had room to run but choose not to as the coaches in the spring said he was doing it too much so maybe that was playing in his head a little on those decisions

he's still more accurate than malik lol

looks the part means fundamentals, comfortable in the pocket, finding the open wr, throwing a tight spiral, controlling the offense. When he was on the field, there was no doubt who was running the offense, he didnt look like just anther guy

Perry's deep ball flails in the air. Lucky for us it flails inbounds unlike Malik's that flails out of bounds...still not good against better comp...will have to wait and see.

Williams will Redshirt. Perry is next in when Rosier stumbles which he will. with Weldon a distant third. Our Oline needs a qb with good escapability Perry is that guy.

So Williams did all this in 9 plays at the end of the game up 63-0 on SSU? 3 passes, 2 carries, hands off 4 times. Wow.
