N'kosi Perry clips...

I hate rotating QBs in a game that matters (ie Toledo and not Savannah State) but I think we need to give Perry a chance against them unless Malik is on fire.

I love how he makes quick decisions and the ball comes out quick and has a very nice spiral. He needs to work on looking off WR's but he is young. I would roll with him. We know what we have in Malik. Give this kid a shot at some tougher competition. Hopefully he gets 2 quarters of play in this week.

He looked really good . I am one of them ones who isn't ready to throw in the towel on Rosier but I am not stupid either- Perry is far far more talented then Rosier. Perry can be a future pro , Rosier can't . SO if Perry becomes the starter I am thrilled but I do think Rosier will still have something to say about it .

Have to go back and watch but what was the average 3rd down distance we had to convert with Perry in the game and how many times did we convert?

mf lamar was not some high end recruit. you didnt know who lamar was before his 1 read bullshid so dont give me that
Actually if you lived in broward or palm beach you knew who Lamar was since he was 14 lol. Same with a kid like shoelace. Everyone knew Lamar was special down here. Ratings don’t always tell the story. The man ain’t really do the camps and ****..but yea I’m a realist when it comes to this qb situation. I haven’t complimented Malik once lol. I’m not defending him. I just know that if Perry was as great as y’all think, he would have taken the job by now. But he hasn’t proved to be the guy no matter how bad malik has been in that 4 game stretch..what does that tell you..but you can’t think objectively..I get it tho bruh

Agree with this..I wanna see perry get a series or 2 in meaningful situations a against comp like a Toledo. At least they not a HS team. I actually think with malik giving Perry some run this week won’t really affect him cause he doent have a huge ego.

He mostly had short fields after TOs..I forget how he did on 3rd downs

Perry did nothing out there that would lead me to believe he’s worse than Rosier.

He threw an INT, Rosier does plenty of that. Perry will only get better, Rosier won’t.

Perry hit a wide open WR, Rosier misses too much. (If Pope didn’t slip Perry would have had another one). Rosier has shown he is a 50% completion guy, Perry will get better in this metric, Rosier won’t.

Can anyone name something Rosier is undeniably better at than Perry?

Nobody on this board really can cause we not at practice every day..but I’ll bite..how about being accountable..rosier hasn’t been suspended for a opener🤷🏽‍♂️

Pope slip came on a pass from JW, but other than that, you are correct.

Throw to Jordan, he should have ran.... The one to Harley might have been the wrong read too.

Based on what we saw from Savannah st. That’s my whole issue with argument. It was against a scrub team. And y’all can keep the Kosi blinders on but he wasn’t all that impressive. His best throws was two slants right in front of him..and ppl bragging about it..then if u bring up the Terrible pick he threw “oh that was a rookie mistake like sam darnold” it’s laughable bruh that ball to 81 was underbthrown and probally should’ve been picked. If 12 had done that **** y’all (not particularly you) would kill him. We gonna see Kosi against Toledo if we do what we supposed to do and get up big. If we don’t get up huge I wanna see perry for a couple series
We have Toledo and fiu for more tune up games so we can have more to look at coming into acc play

He looked good in those clips. He definitely shows a lot of potential. But the one thing I didn't see was him going through his progressions. His first read was where he threw the ball. Most teams we play will make the QB at least make a second read before throwing it. I think the one thing that CMR said he liked about Rosier was his ability to read defenses, go through progressions and make audibles at the line of scrimmage. All things that come with experience.

I want better QB play like the rest of us on this board, but if CMR says Rosier is the better QB right now, I'm going to have to go with it. As painful as it is for my eyes to watch. After all he see's them on the practice field, in the meeting rooms and how they interact with the team on a daily basis.
Im trying to understand the part where #12 knows how to read defenses and go thru his progressions...maybe it's just me but i have not seen him look beyond that 1st read much in his career. His pre snap reads have not resulted in moving the chains on 3rd downs much and post snap reads have him keeping the ball on rpo and losing 2-3 yds. Just my observation
