N'kosi Perry clips...

If that 3.5 minute video didn't show you that this kid has a TON of potential, then you're a dense idiot who cannot be helped

It was his first time playing in a live game in front of a relatively "large" crowd...shove your BS up your ****

Not that I think UM should play school yard ball but if Im Richt there's part of me that says to him,"hey N'kosi, if nothing is there just run and get a few yards and slide or get out of bounds. Play loose and make things happen."

Yeah he's not going to be polished at this point, which I can live with. I thought there were a couple of plays where Perry could just tucked it and run for more yards than he got than passing it."
that throw to brevin at 1:04 didnt need to be made. shouldve gotten the yardage running. its really engrained in him to pass 1st. i don't know how good that is

Here’s my take; On that Cager TD, he threw the ball, before, Cager came out his break so by the time Cager came out of his break, the only person who could catch the ball was Cager.

On that last Brevin TD, he threw it to only where Brevin could catch it.

This was all pretty impressive w limited time w the 1’s and no in game experience. Rookie mistakes will be rookie mistakes, but I’ll take these mistakes and watch them turn in to growth, v. sticking w a guy who still can’t complete slants or outs.
What was your take on the pick?

I believe in due time he'll understand when to get a few yards(or more) and then hook slide or get out of bounds. He has to much athleticism to not use his legs when need be

Against savannnah st..good arm talent but let’s pump the breaks just a lil bit on the anointment

Hes got an interesting throwing mechanic. Fairly quick feet. I do like his footwork, said that when he came in.

You get the feeling if he packed about 15-20 more pounds he wouldn't be afraid at all to turn it up field.

Seems a bit more nimble in the pocket than Rosier...accurate...

Him and Jarren Williams are going to seriously compete for the spot next year.

The only way Perry improves is to play against other teams.

If Malware struggles against Toledo Perry should replace him.

Just so excited with these young guys. I don't care if these boys mess up right now, but like ray Lewis says, as long as you give effort. Lots of effort I see.

Ball placement was good for a first start.

Can he carve up a good defense? Can he find the open man when a good DC mixes up coverage?

Hopefully we find out soon.

Again no one is anointing him .. infact people are saying there will be growing pains. Was he perfect ? No but he offers more than what rosier can

I thought he looked **** good outside of the INT. Not sure what ppl on this board were watching. The slant to Cager was PERFECT. The pass to Brevin was pinpoint only where he could catch it. Plus he looks super athletic rolling out. Much better then Roiser imo.

Hoping to see him more in Toledo. His throw at 2:52, Brevin’s first td was what I liked to see. It was an easy throw as far as the open target is concerned, but moving the pocket and rolling out and throwing a pervert ball on the run. Malik can’t do this hardly at all. It looked effortless for Perry.

I’ll take his rookie mistakes over Rosiers old *** continual mistakes. Especially when the young guy has bar better arm talent.

Perry had not played in a competitive football game since the fall of 2016. Of course he needs to shake some rust off. But he showed flashes of what he can become if he gets more snaps. It’s time to hand over the reigns to him.

nothing in that clip gave me a reason to not start this young man over Rosier. it must be his attitude outside the football field.
