N'kosi Perry clips...

For his first game it wasn't bad. I feel like he gives us more upside than Malik. But I do think Jarren is the best QB on the roster. If Malik ends up finishing this season as the starting QB then IMO Jarren will beat out N'kosi and Cade for the 2019 season. N'kosi only chance to cement himself as QB1 is if Malik finally gets benched and N'kosi balls out.

Did he look great? No, but he looks a **** of a lot better then Rosier. Take a look at the TD pass at 2:40. Rosier could never throw something like that on the move. He needs to start.

That and the throw at 2:25 mark are the throws we need to beat the LSU/Clemson/VPI Those are throws Malik cant hit with such ease.

****, Malik Cant even make the throw at :16 mark, consistently.

looked great to me.. and this nonsense i have heard from some people that he locked in one receiver every throw is just that- nonsense.

who gives a **** ? especially with our wr corps. you can get away with locking on in college if you have the arm and some good wr. rosier cant afford to lock on with his height and lack of arm strength

there's a certain ease to the way Perry throws it, the ball also comes out on time(which is key) and he understands ball placement

Again, Rome was not built in a day but I get the sense he will get better with more snaps

Here’s my take; On that Cager TD, he threw the ball, before, Cager came out his break so by the time Cager came out of his break, the only person who could catch the ball was Cager.

On that last Brevin TD, he threw it to only where Brevin could catch it.

This was all pretty impressive w limited time w the 1’s and no in game experience. Rookie mistakes will be rookie mistakes, but I’ll take these mistakes and watch them turn in to growth, v. sticking w a guy who still can’t complete slants or outs.

agreed, there's actually some anticipation with Perry's throws and he understands much better that you can't wait and see if a guy is wide open at times, the ball has to come out as the guy is getting open

Agree 100%. The fact that perry actually has arm strength, can hit his receivers, and throws the ball with speed is a massive improvement over Rosier. Rosier was pretty **** bad against cookman last year and that was his 2nd start and his 10th time seeing live action. That was the first time Perry saw live action. He also didn't spend as much time with the 1s in practice as Rosier. Get him to work with the 1s the next couple of weeks and he will be so much better then Roiser it wont even be a competition.

did they have his INT in there if rosier did that you guys would be crying but nkosi does it and you want him to start smh

That was my biggest take. I think we’ve been clamoring for Rosier and anticipation, which at this point, seems like an oxymoron v. hope. Rosier is who he is, and our ceiling is limited. Even with Rosier’s runs, he’s not very fluid. Perry showed more fluidity in his runs. He’s a more of an athletic QB v. an athlete playing QB which is what Rosier is.

why you comparing a 2nd year player to a 6th?
rosier sucks you dumb fuq. we know nkosi will come with growing pains. the keyword is GROWTH. something malik cant do.

the fact that this is what youd rather focus on is very gaaayyy. were focusing on the plays he can make that rosier cant. we know rosier csn throw plenty picks

malik sucks he is a grown man. you dont need to defend him.

Everyone has acknowledged that awful pick. Don't make up bull**** to fit your dumb narrative.

The issues threw a similar pick against LSU that went for 6 and he's a 5th year senior. Plus add in the fact that he's under 50% passing in his last 6 games and of course we all want a change.

Not that I think UM should play school yard ball but if Im Richt there's part of me that says to him,"hey N'kosi, if nothing is there just run and get a few yards and slide or get out of bounds. Play loose and make things happen."

Yeah he's not going to be polished at this point, which I can live with. I thought there were a couple of plays where Perry could just tucked it and run for more yards than he got than passing it."
