NIL Compatible Custom Player Jerseys

I got excited for the season to start and ordered an Adidas replica last weekend. Got it for $90 with Fanatics 25% off. It came in yesterday and I'm beyond disappointed with the quality compared to 10 and 20 year old Nike jerseys I have. I'm not a brand loyalist by any means but I'm returning it. The numbers and sleeve stripes are screen print and look cheap, like something you'd buy at Walmart, and the large numbers on the front and back of the jersey are the heat-adhered material with stitching around them to mimic twill.

Biggest disappointment is that lame *** recycled ocean plastic material. It's too thick and heavy for a fan jersey.

I do think this is great for our student athletes, but I'm really starting to hope Rad has something in the works with Nike after our Adidas deal expires.

I don't think Adidas offers authentics, if they do I haven't seen them.

It's not even the screen printing, it's the overall lack of value given the quality vs. cost. I knew I wasn't getting an authentic jersey but I expected more than this.

My 2001 KD Nike replica is screen printed and after 20 years I prefer the quality of that over what I received yesterday. My Jacory Harris era Nike replica has twill numbers and the quality is much better than this, I think I paid between $85-$100 for it.

For $130 (I got it for less with a coupon but that's what it's listed at) I expected a lot more. I paid $90 and I'm disappointed, it looks and feels like a $60 jersey.

IDGAF about brand loyalty, but Nike ***** on this.

If I’m going to be honest, w/ no bias, this legit looks like a legit Downtown L.A Alley knock off.

I say that b/c of the position, or lack thereof the Adidas logo. It seems/appears especially titled w/o even putting the jersey on. Also the ACC logo is not across, symmetrically from the Adidas logo. Furthermore, the Adidas logo appears stitched, while the U & ACC logos appears ironed on, along w/ the sleeve stripes & numbers.

In essence, it looks like a heavy pro club v-neck T-shirt that stitched the companies logo, hastily, along w/ the main number, but chose to use ironed on plastic for all others.

lemme preface this by saying i'm 100% for this & think it's long overdue that they players get a cut from jerseys sales..

with that being said, it's horrible quality shirt looking jersey for $140
Its a back door way to pay players. Nobody is rocking these. Key is to set up a company where more money goes to the players and the shirts are as cheap as possible.

It looks like ****, but it's legit Adidas.

Sup with no Orange, too? Smh.

I don’t know all the specifics, but I doubt the players are seeing even half of the money from these. Could be wrong though

Besides, it costs a whole lot less than what they charge customers to actually make decent quality jerseys; they would ultimately sell a lot more if they weren’t t-shirts with the jersey design hastily printed on lol

There is no way the players are getting more than 5-10%.
